Miguel Angel Cervantes is a former economist in the Fraser Institutes Global Resource Centre and co-author of the annual Survey of Mining Companies, Global Petroleum Survey, and Economic Freedom of the Arab World report. He holds a bachelor's and masters degree in economics from the University of Texas at El Paso and is also a lecturer at HEC Montréal Business School.
